In May 2010 my photograph was shown in The State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, Russia along with the work of 30 other students. (Half from Russia, half from the United States). Each student was asked to photographically interpret a portrait in a museum. The portrait that my photograph was based off of is “Lady with Her Pets” by Rufus Hathaway (1790) which resides in The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
